You

I wake up and you text me
we talk about you
I get on the bus and you text me
we talk about you
I am in class and you text me
we talk about you
I have free time and you text me
we talk about you
I try to do homework and you text me
we talk about you
I try to watch television and you text me
we talk about you
I try to sleep and you text me
we talk about you
I try to change the subject
we talk about you
I try to say goodbye
we talk about you
You start nasty rumors about me
we talk about you
You tell lies about things I do
we talk about you
I say I can't do this anymore
we talk about you
I ingore you for weeks
you talk about you
Your friends all avoid you
you talk about you
Then one day
 it all comes crashing down
You come to me
with tears in your eyes
You ask me to fix it all
You say you don't know
what went wrong
I stand
I watch
I open my mouth
and
you talk about you
I walk away
I don't look back
You scream
You ask me what you did wrong
I pause and say
"You talk about you"
I walk away
I don't look back
I gave you everything I had
but
all you wanted was
to talk about you

Color of My Eyes

i say i want one day
one day to feel beautiful
one day to feel loved
you say you love my eyes
you say they are a beautiful blue
which would be sweet if you even knew
if you knew how much it hurts
if you knew how hard i cry
but thats the whole problem
you dont know nobody does
because how am i to trust you
when you only want to talk about you
i tell you my fears
i mention my worries
and we talk about your home life
so i find a new friend
i try to talk to her
i tell her how i hate my life
and she tells me to eat pie
so i have faith in human kind
and i try one more time
he never answers
and this one hurts the most
because back when it was bad
the time before this
he was the one who saved me
the one who rescued me from myself
but now he doesnt care
and it can only make me wonder
if the one who cared when noone else did
doesnt care anymore
then why should anyone else
heck why should i
my eyes are hazel and you didnt know that
all i asked for was one day
you couldnt even give me that

The Story of a Drow (Prologue)

Navigating FalseFara Effectively:
Everything You Need to Know About FalseFara and Then Some!
Chapter Forty-Seven: Peoples and Places to Avoid

There exists no bowman more deadly than those known as the Drow. Practitioners of the Dark Arts, these elves are the sole inhabitants of the Ebony Woods, a land so war torn and poisoned, that the living trees are few and far between. Darker skinned than any other nation of elves it is commonly believed that their ancestors consorted with the devil and they are not even truly elves any longer, but an entirely new race.

Throughout the years there have been few wars that they have not had an underhanded part in starting, and none that they have not ended, often by wiping out entire races. Only two nations have ever attempted to get into their good graces, one by becoming allies with them, the other by becoming trading partners. The Ayleids, a nation of Bretons most commonly known for their command over simple magics and their ability to perform simple tasks, became the allies of the Drow. Two weeks after the treaty was signed the Ayleids disappeared, all five thousand or so, nobody knows how or where to. Well nobody that is, except for the Drow, and they are not talking. The Redguard was more successful in their attempts. This nation of wanderers is the last known establishment of humans in all of FalseFara. Living in the Suhalla Desert they trade in wares that cannot be found outside the harsh winds of the Suhalla or by anyone not of Redguard descent. The Redguard and the Drow have been successful trading partners for nearly a decade; they keep their peace and their distance. All business is done in the Dead Zone between the forest and the desert, swept clean of plant life by the black sands of the Suhalla. The Dead Zone is home only to the Kelarka and the trading outposts used by these two outcast nations.

It is entirely unknown how many Drow there are, or how their culture works. Reports range from forty thousand to around nine million, this last account is not widely believed however as it came from an escaped prisoner of war on the brink of death. The largest gathering of the Drow ever recorded has been at war, with a sighting of nearly fourteen thousand. This number alone makes them larger than any other nation on record; no children were counted among the fighters that day. Their government is thought to be a hierarchy, with an all-powerful king at its head and the rule passing on to the oldest male in the family line, regardless of ability or desire to rule. Brothers have been known to kill one another for the chance to take the crown; the next in line may not abdicate. The current king, King Nicolive, killed fourteen brothers and his father in order to sit on the throne. He was the youngest of his family and now has sixteen sons of his own. It is believed that they marry for life; however this has never been confirmed by any Drow.

With a keen sense of smell and eyesight unrivaled by even the Kelarka, the Drow are nearly impossible to ambush. They know that you are coming before you are even aware they are ahead of you, allowing them to become the hunters rather than the hunted. A Drow is never seen alone, always in small groups, or at the very least pairs. This allows the work to get done with at least one man always on guard.

It is the advisement of this guidebook that one avoids the Drow at all costs. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ENTER EBONY WOOD OR ATTEMPT TO ATTACK A DROW! THESE ACTIONS WILL RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE DEATH OR DISAPPEARANCE OF EVERYONE INVOLVED!

Make Someones Day

I know you think that what you say doesn't hurt her, and that nothing could ever cause her to cry. But the truth is that strong girls need hugs too. They want to be told they are beautiful just as much as any other girl. The reason they are strong is because they have to put up with so much more than anyone else. They have had to handle the crap that the world hands them as well as the crap they heap upon themselves. Teenage girls are already overly critical of themselves and the strong ones are just the ones who have been even tougher on themselves for even longer. Sometimes I think that the strong ones need the love of others even more than the "happy" ones, because they think so much less of themselves.

So make someones day, hug the strong girl, smile at her, say hello, tell her she looks pretty that day, all she really needs is to know that someone notices her.

Tomorrow can take care of itself.

Today is one of the days that I am just happy to be alive. I have no idea why, nor do I really have any reason to feel like this. I just am. What a wonderful thought that is! I just am! No requirements, no expectations, no push to be something more than what I am. I can just be me, I don't have to make anyone else happy I don't need to finish anything, I don't have anybody waiting on me. That is such a freeing thing to know. Honestly I don't want tomorrow to come. Tomorrow comes with stress, pain, tests, expectations, and people. Oh how I wish tomorrow didn't have to come, but alas time shall travel on with or without my consent. So I shan't think of tomorrow, I shall dwell upon the happier thoughts and feelings of today. Tomorrow can take care of itself.

Two Steps

I took two steps
Two steps towards the sun
Two steps towards my future
Two step before I begin to run
Two steps and I'm running
Two steps and I'm free
Two steps away from bondage
Two steps and you fall behind
Two steps and you pass from my mind
Two steps and there's no more horror
Two steps and there's no more pain
Two steps and I write my story
Two steps and I choose my fate
Two steps and I'm finally alone
I took two steps

Only Gotten Worse

Still feeling like King Aurthur. In fact it has only gotten worse, this time I play the part and pushed Gwen and Lancelot together.

Just like the King in times of old I pushed them to get along so well that I shoved them right into one each others arms.

Now I am just waiting for the fall of Camelot. What a crappy thing to have to wait for.

Dear American Public,

I know that you are all excited for the holiday season to begin and for people to go out and spend millions on objects they don't need that will likely break or fall into disuse with in a month of the gift giving. But I would like to remind you of this teeny tiny thing, really it is very small thing, it is called Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is more than just the day before Black Friday. It is more than just a day to stuff our faces to the point of puking and have a parade that costs more than most cars. Thanksgiving is one whole day where we get to spend time with family and just be grateful for one another and the things that we have, all of the things that we have.

Every year Thanksgiving is over looked and shoved to the back of our minds while Christmas gets bigger and more over priced. This is a wrong that needs to be righted, I herd Christmas music the day after Halloween this year. That is just silly.

So please remember Thanksgiving, and KEEP THE CHRISTMAS MUSIC AWAY UNTIL AFTER THANKSGIVING, AT LEAST!!

This is getting silly,
Ashlie Mae
